Importance of Ramadan Month

Ramadan is one of the most important months in Islam. In this month Quran the holy book of Islam revealed to our Holy Prophet Hazarat Muhammad  (PBUH). Fasting is also a 4th Pillar of Islam, Muslims are forgiven and they grow spiritually.

Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), said:

Fasting is a shield, so when one of you is fasting, he should neither indulge in obscene language nor should he raise his voice in anger. If someone attacks him or insults him, let him say: I am fasting.

Dua for Sehri:

وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ.

I intend to keep the fast for tomorrow in the month of Ramadan.

Dua for Iftar:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّى لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِك أَمَنتُ وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ.

O, Allah! I keep fast for you, and I believe in you, and I put my belief in You, and I break my fast with your subsistence.

Dua for Ashras

Dua for 1st 10 days

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy.

Dua for 2nd 10 days

اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللہَ رَبِّی مِنْ کُلِّ زَنْبٍ وَّ اَتُوْبُ اِلَیْہِ.

I ask forgiveness of my sins from Allah who is my Lord and I turn towards Him.

Dua for the Last 10 days

اَللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ.

Oh Allah! Save me from the hell fire.

Importance of Laylatul Qadr

Laylatul Qadr is one of the most important night in Islamic colander and known as the Night of Power. On this night Hazrat Jibreel(A.S) revealed the first few lines of the Quran to Hazrat Muhammad(S.A.W).  This night is observed during the last ten nights of Ramadan.

Hazart Muhammad Said:

Whoever prays on Laylatul Qadr out of faith and sincerity, shall have all their past sins forgiven,

(Hadith, Bukhari and Muslim)

The rewards of this night are immense, this is why it is known as the Night of Power.

Dua for Laylatul Qadr:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي.

O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me.
